Livable Communities Taskforce

Goal / Description:

Across the country Americans support strong, sustainable economic growth that ensure a high quality of life and a renewed sense of community. The Livable Communities Task Force works to:

• Provide communities with the tools, resources and strategies to reduce congestion and preserve green space
• Further partnerships between the Federal Government and local communities in an effort to improve quality of life for all citizens
• Educate Members of Congress and their staff on the role the Federal Government can play in enhancing community livability
